“Expensive funerals are a ridiculous expense. It just needs to be enough to make sure the deceased doesn’t infect the living in any way. Just bury them or burn them.”

Burn me and Turn me in to the soil. Though a Viking Funeral might be Hot. Me, an old boat and what ever bugs are in the boat. Light it up and push it out to sea/lake/pond whatever.

Zombies are more of a problem than “zombie” movies suggest.

Nonetheless, I would be interested in Stevel’s reaction to the assertion that funerals are not for the dead, but an instrument of grief for the not-dead.

There seems to be a functional aspect to a prolonged event intended expressly to underline that the deceased is truly no longer available for interaction or productivity.

However, having never attended a funeral, I can’t be certain.
