The Trouble with Jigsaw Puzzles

March 29th, 2009

What do I do with it now? Paint it with puzzle glue and display it somewhere in No. 6? (Stevel has already forbidden such an act of aesthetic heathendom.) Dismantle it and do it again? Ug.

I propose an immediate puzzle exchange. Who has one to send? I will drop this one in the mail to you immediately!

Take a picture, box it back up and drop it in the nearest Salvation Army box. The fun was in putting it together. Once you’ve done that, no need to keep it around. (Unless you are Don & Sara Kinker, who would keep it in their attic.)

I concur with ma. Take a snapshot (suitable for framing of course). Box it up and pay it forward.

Move on to the next challenging puzzle. Which by the way are great learning tools for little people. A whole lot different tasks to master. And a pretty picture at the end.

Nanna is very proud of you. She says that you probably spent about an hour putting it together (at least it would have taken her only an hour. But then she is the puzzle Queen).
