Why? Because the minute someone calls, “Wardrobe change!” she will start screaming and crying and not stop. This has been her way now for a year and a half, and I just don’t see how I will ever be able to let her go to college, I’m afraid I’ll show up the first break to pick her up and bring her home, and she will still be wearing the outfit I dropped her off in. “I’m on my own now, Mom, I can make my own decisions, and I DON’T WANT TO CHANGE MY CLOTHES.”

From my observation of other people’s girl children, when she hits 3 or 4 it will go totally the other way and you’ll be lamenting that she insists on putting on every outfit she owns every single day. :)

Turn about is fair play! What a crock! You my darling daughter where so independent, your mother could not dress you at all/ever. You had to be in control, pick out your own clothes and dress yourself. Now you have a child of your own, who just does’nt care. She would probably wear the same clothes all week, if you would let her. I think she is a lot (excatly) like her dad in this regard. The genes do show through.
