Weekends and Weak Ends

May 8th, 2010

This weekend saw a visit from Cindy and Bridget. What fun—hooray! We shopped, poppied, beach-hopped, and ate-stickers-all-the-time-dude. We enjoyed a visit from Cindy’s fun cousin, this rad guy. It was wonderful to hang out with these girls. I posted some photos—poppy day shots by Jeremedia: Here’s your link to the PHOTO AWESOMENESS.

And now I need to go do my glute exercises. My glutes are bozos.

The weak ends wouldn’t have anything to do with raisins, would they?

The poppies are beautiful and so are the friends!

Loved the toddler outing pics! Such fun! And great turtle pics! Those are red-eared sliders. Red-eared sliders are the most common “baby turtles” sold in pet stores. They aren’t native to CA, but so many “pets” have been released over the years that they’re common now in the wild. They make good pets because they’re active turtles and like to get out of the water and walk around and sit in the sun. (I learned all about them from Wikipedia.)

So neat that you saw them strolling about on an outing of their own. Wonder if they were saying “Look, Mommy! Real live human kids!”

    Happy Mom’s Day! XO
